~ I have spent years grappling with debilitating anxiety. Friends and family do not understand just how debilitating anxiety is! I couldn’t stand being in my own skin. This has been a huge change for me! Susan has taught me mindfulness practices and it has offered me a totally different way to find peace with anxiety, peace with myself. This changed my life! Using a mindfulness approach, I no longer label myself with the belief “I am anxious”. I am now aware when I begin to feel anxious and I am now able to let it be, knowing the moment will pass and it DOES NOT DICTATE my mind, nor my behavior. I am now free. The ability to remain present has given me full control of my life. This is a true gift!

Adventure therapy is an experiential approach allowing the individual to process utilizing the outdoor environment through hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, beach walks and yoga.

Clients will be educated on mindfulness which creates a state of focusing on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations in the present moment.
